Nigerian artist Asake was filming a music video in Paris, France when he was stopped by police.
The moment was captured on video and has since gone viral, sparking a debate on racial profiling.
In the video, Asake is seen walking down the street with his entourage when he is stopped by two police officers.
The officers ask him for his identification and ask him what he is doing in the area. Asake explains that he is filming a music video, but the officers do not believe him.
