Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani has mentioned his fellow artists and colleagues, Wande Coal and Nonso Bassey as the definition of vocal range in Nigerian music.
Ric Hassani said this via his Twitter page on Saturday, the 29th of May 2021. The singer said that when it comes to the conversation around the vocal range in the music industry, the discussion will not be complete without the mention of those two artists. He also went on to clarify that he wasn't talking about voice texture or people with nice voices. He wrote;
If you're talking about vocal range, n you don't call Nonso Bassey, Wande Coal, then you have no idea what you're talking about. You should go and sit somewhere. Those two, then we can discuss. But don't be calling people with just nice voices, I'm talking about range, not texture.
