In an earlier post, he sent a Ramadan message to fans on the need to take studying the Quran very seriously.
“The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Quran was sent down as a pure source of guidance for mankind. In it are clear teachings showing the Right Way and the Criterion for judging truth and falsehood,” Naira Marley said.
The singer once influenced a cult-like movement called “Marlians.” His followers at that time were known for their wayward dressings and crazy lifestyles.
However, there was no report of violence by Marley’s fanbase.
