The Afrobeats superstar might be giving a surprise performance at the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Nigerian ace singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been reportedly billed to perform at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The DWM frontline act has been away from the public eye following the tragic loss of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, in a pool accident.
However, the award-winning singer, who also postponed what would have been his biggest headline concert of his career, the "A.W.A.Y." festival, which was slated to happen on the 18th of November 2022 at the 21,000-capacity State Farm Arena in Atlanta, might be back on stage sooner than expected.
According to popular and reputable Hong Kong businessman, Stephen Hung, Davido has confirmed that he will be performing at the World Cup's closing ceremony on December 18, 2022.
