The fans of Chelsea will be able to watch their team play in the semi-finals of the FA Cup against Crystal Palace and subsequent UEFA Champions League games. All the money gotten from the sale of the tickets will go to the host nation while the money generated from the sales of tickets in the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League will to the Premier League to distribute to the competition organisers.

The UK Sports minister, Nigel Huddleston, confirmed that Chelsea fans can watch their team play both against Crystal Palace and Real Madrid.

The Government has today made alterations to the licence to Chelsea Football club so that fans will be able to access tickets to away matches, cup games and women's fixtures. '1 would like to thank fans for their patience while we have engaged with the football authorities to make this possible. Since Roman Abramovich was added to the UK's sanctions list for his links to Vladmir Putin we have worked extensively to ensure the club can continue to play football while ensuring the sanctions regime continues to be enforced.'

Chelsea fans will hope the sale of the club gets sped up so things can return to normal, especially the sorting out of players' transfers.
