The Ghanaian Football Association has announced the appointment of Otto Addo as the new coach of the Balck Stars while Chris Hughton will serve as the country's technical adviser.

The news was announced on the official website of the Ghanaian Football Association on Wednesday, February 10th, 2022. According to reports from the website, former black stars defender, Otto Addo will serve as the chief coach of the team.
The decision to appoint Addo was taken after the executive council meeting of the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022. Addo will bring a lot lf experience to the team as he currently served as the assistant coach of Borussia Dortmund. He has been coaching since 2009 when he started his career as the assistant coach of Hamburger in Germany.
The 46-year-old will be in charge of the Ghanaian team that will play Nigeria in a two-legged World Cup qualifying game in March 2022. He has also played the role of scout for the Black stars before the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
