Everton have completed the signing of Vitaliy Mykolenko from Dynamo Kyiv for an undisclosed fee on a deal until the summer of 2026.

The 22-year-old who is the first signing of the Merseyside club has been impressive for both club and country and Everton will hope he brings that same form to the team whenever he is called on. He was key in Dynamo's league title triumph in the just concluded 2020/21 season and also in the club's UEFA Champions League campaign in the past two seasons.
Everton confirmed the news of his signing on their official website on Saturday, January 1st,2022. Mykolenko expressed his delight in joining the Premier League club and he also believes the Premier League's style of play will suit him well.
Moving to Everton is a big and important step in my life. I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League. English football is where the game was born and I think that it will suit my game well. I am 22 but I don't feel like a youngster. i have experience of playing at European level and hope I will continue to improve as a player. I am excited about the opportunity of playing in front of our supporters at Everton. I have seen the last games at Goodison Park and they are unbelievable. They are incredible fans to whom I feel great responsibility.
He has won 21 caps for his country and was a key part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the Euro 2020.
