The Carabao Cup semi-final game between Liverpool and Arsenal has been postponed because of the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus in the camp of the Reds.

Liverpool had earlier announced that the first team training ground was close because of the outbreak of the virus among staff members and players of the first team. The EFL approved the Reds' appeal to postpone to game because of lack of enough players to execute the game.
According to the statement released on Liverpool's official website on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022, the first leg will now be played on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 while the second leg will be played on Thursday, January 20th, 2022.
