Lookman spent two and half years at the Merseyside with Everton before sealing a permanent move to the Bundesliga with Leipzig, where he has only played 13 games.
Lookman expressed his delight on the Leicester website on August 31st, 2021. He said when he came to the club, the facilities at the club caught his attention.
He also said, he can not wait to start work, and he believes the team and environment will bring out the best in him.
I'm delighted to be here. It's a great honor to be at such a big and amazing club with such a huge history and a quality group of players.
The facilities are incredible. It's pretty mind-blowing and I just can't wait to work here. I think environment is very important for a player, so this is the right environment for me to work hard every single day and help my craft be even better.
Lookman will join Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho at the Foxes. This will make him the third Nigerian at the club.
