Burna Boy Thrashed By Twitter NG For Plagiarism

Grammy award winner, Burna Boy has incurred the wrath of Nigerians on Twitter over the wordings of his recent Twitter post.

The self-proclaimed African Gaint found himself on Twitter trend tables after Tweeps aggressively dragged him for plagiarism.

Yesterday, we reported that Burna Boy was working on a new project after he dropped several hints on Twitter and promised it will reveal his vulnerability to the world.

“This next album. I need you to hear the pain in my voice, The pain of an OUTSIDER, Forever marked by my skin, my past, and the place I come from No matter how skilled I am or how honorable I proved myself”

Hours later, Twitter users called out the Odogwu of PH for stealing the words from an anime series (cartoon). According to some of the posts on Twitter, Burna had copied the wordings of anime and he sampled it for the announcement of his new album.

This left many Twitter users angry as they believed Burna boy should have been more original or made the reference to the animation. Read some reactions from Twitter:
