American R&B singer, Pharrell Williams has showered the Queen of Afrobeats, Tiwa Savage with well-deserved praises after listening to her yet-to-released Water and Garri Ep.
Apparently, the talented songwriter linked up with Tiwa who played snippets from the forthcoming Ep. Tiwa Savage uploaded a video clip of herself and Pharrell Williams as he shared his thoughts on the forthcoming project. In the video, Pharrell was heard saying;
“Anybody that doesn’t get your song, shouldn’t be listening to music. That’s not a commercial song, but that’s a classic. It’s okay to have a classic and that right there, that’s like boat music, BBQ music, that’s like self a reflection music”
Sharing the video, Tiwa Savage wrote;
“Had @pharrell listen to my EP WaterAndGarri.I made music for the soul and one of my favs just confirmed it @motownrecords @siphodlam I need a date to drop this ?? ?????”
