1. K1 De Ultimate: While the actual Nigerian industry is barely three decades old, K1 has however established himself as an icon in it, with his music spanning decades to remain relevant now. Full name Olasunkanmi Wasiu Ishola, K1 was born in 1957 and will be turning 64 on the 3rd of March.

2. Rex Lawson: This is one name that might be unknown to many Gen Zs and even Millennials as Rex’s heydays were in the 60s, as one of the musicians regaling Nigerians with highlife tracks. 3. Praiz: In the American state of Minnesota, the 6th of February is celebrated as ‘Praise Adejo Day’ but the Afrosoul musician will actually be turning 37 on the 8th of March.
4. Yemi Alade: She might be popularly known as Mama Africa, and this is because Yemi Alade has become more than just a Nigerian star but a global megastar with fans all over the continent. As a result, when she turns 32 on the 13th of March, all of Africa will join in celebrating her.
