Burna Boy’s new album, ‘Twice As Tall’ has achieved a new peak on the Billboard 200 as it snagged the 54th position on the chart.
The Billboard 200 which is a record chart that ranks the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States published its chart for the week and Burna Boy snagged the 54th spot. This is a new peak position for the singer after African Giant peaked at No. 104 on the same charts. This new peak makes it the highest-charting Nigerian album ever on the Billboard 200.
Three years prior to this new feat, Wizkid‘s “Sounds From The Other Side” had also peaked at No. 107 on the same charts. In 1983, King Sunny Ade also peaked at No. 111 on the Billboard 200 with his album,” JuJu Music” which he made with His African Beats and spent 29 weeks on the charts.
