JJC Skillz has responded to the backlash he and his wife received for hosting a birthday party despite the coronavirus outbreak.
The singer turned 43 yesterday and his wife and some other colleagues threw a surprise birthday party for him. The likes of Naira Marley and Eniola Badmus were in attendance. However, Nigerians took to social media to call out for their irresponsible actions. The singer later responded by sharing a video via his Instagram page.
In a video he shared, JJC explained that the house party was a “surprise turn-up”, said everyone who attended the party at their house in their Lagos home are safe and sound. He even that some of the guests are were camped in the estate before President Buhari made orders for the city to be locked down
JJC Skillz also revealed that most people like Naira Marley and Akpororo who attended the birthday live in the same estate with them. He added that Eniola Badmus was self-isolated in an apartment in their estate upon her return from the UK.
