Naira Marley Is Still in Custody of #EFCC… News of Freedom is Fake News
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has reacted to the video going around of Naira Marley regaining freedom after the court postponed his hearing to 30th of May. In reacting, they accused some friends of the singer, Naira Marley for releasing the propaganda video in their “desperation” to launder his image, stating that it is fake new.
According to EFCC in an interview with SaharaReporters, Naira Marley is still in their custody in Ikoyi Prison and that video of him entering a car Isn’t recent neither has he been released.
The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, had, on Monday, ordered Naira Marley to be remanded in prison until May 30th when the hearing of his bail application will take place.
If this propaganda being circulated by friends will affect his hearing is not stated.
