The NBA is launching a professional basketball league in Africa that will feature 12 teams from several countries across the continent. No wonder we spotted popular Nigerian artist Ycee, South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest, Sho Madjozi, Moozlie and Tanzanian’s sweetheart Vanessa Mdee over the weekend at the NBA All-star weekend.
These stars were all hosted in Charlotte by UMGB, a division of Universal Music Group and NBA Africa in efforts to build the bridge between music and sport.
