The joyous winners that were rewarded in the TECNO valentine special were participants in the just concluded TECNO valentine campaign. Earlier, the customer-centric brand had started a Valentine special campaign on the 13th of February, where participants were encouraged to call in on these radio shows – Campus Vibes radio show on Unilag 103.1 FM between 5:20 to 5:45pm or Gbemi on the DRIVETIME show on The Beat 99.9FM between 5PM – 8PM to share their unique love stories, expressing their love and appreciating their significant other through a conference phone call with partner live on radio! Or they can simply send a creative text message to the on-air personality with the phone number of their loved one stating what they love about them and how much they mean to them.
With love in the air, TECNO had the On-air personalities call the participants’ lovers on their behalf, reading out the romantic messages they had earlier sent. With every message delivered, the lover was expected to guess who sent the message and the right guess was rewarded with a surprise Valentine gift from the TECNO Mobile team.
Love is a good feeling and its feels better when you have the backing of a global brand like TECNO Mobile. Some winners could not hide their joy as most of them where filled with praises for not just the idea but also the mobile brand.
