Inspiring story of the UNIBEN graduate who wrote WAEC 17 times (READ)

A typical instance of… “never give up” yeah? Read on.
Kogi-born University of Benin (UNIBEN) Mass Communication graduate, Emmanuel Oluwasayomi Ahmadu – known as Mr Voiceover – recently won an international award as Student Brand Of The Year West Africa on West African Citizens Awards 2018 and while narrating his story in an interview, he said he wrote O’level exams 17 times – before he got it right.
Mr Voiceover who was startled at the reactions the news caused on the internet said that a lot of persons misinterpreted the whole thing.
He explained that O’level examination has to do with all examination requirements for entry into Nigeria higher institutions. These include but not limited to WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, WAEC GCE, NECO GCE and JAMB.
“I wrote all these exams altogether 17 times in 5 years. The ordeal was not one I could wish my ‘worse enemy’ to face.”
This terrible experience had to do with a family crisis that made him attend 16 primary schools and 14 secondary schools, which he said he would not want to explain further as it would make him weep.
“I want to encourage as many who are going through challenges, even more terrible than mine to look up to God and never to give up. According to the popular axiom that says nothing last forever. The same applies to your current challenges. Do not give up!”
He said he is open to interviews from media houses in Nigeria and beyond geared towards inspiring other individuals faced with related situations or more terrible circumstances, fondly experienced by the youth.
Mr Voiceover asks for support towards his career and his numerous innovative projects at hand, especially as he has just graduated from the University.
