To my understanding, Nickname is an humorous name given to a person or anything instead of or as well as the real name.
In this Nigeria, there are some nicknames you will hear and you will nearly laugh out your spirit out 
So yesterday, I was walking down my street and I heard someone called a man walking behind me, the man’s nickname is ‘Teko‘ which in English means ‘Press Penis‘ and I actually can’t keep the laugh to myself so I just have to laugh out loud.
Have heard a lot of funny nicknames, names like ‘Japa‘ meaning ‘Run Away‘, ‘Ori Lomo‘ meaning ‘Head Knows‘ etc.
