The tribute memorial concert for the legendary Aretha Franklin, who passed away at 76 from pancreatic cancer took place in Detriot, last night August 30th.
The free concert was a marathon of live music which had the likes of Patti LaBelle, Angie Stone, Jennifer Lewis, Tyler Perry, Tweet, Regina Belle, Raheem DeVaughn, Keith Washington, The Four Tops, Johnny Gill.
Also present at the memorial were her grandchildren Jordan, Gracie and Victorie Franklin.
Aretha’s funeral service which is scheduled to take place today will feature headliners like Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, and Ariana Grande.
