The influence of record labels in bringing out new talents is one of the essential functions and objectives of the label and this procedure is necessary in a music industry that will grow and develop as it is through this that mega music acts like Wizkid (Formerly EME), Mayorkun (DMW), Adekunle Gold ( formerly YBNL) and others have become household names in the Nigerian Music industry today.

2. Peruzzi (DMW)
Credited with writing Fall for Davido according to entertainment rumours, the for your pocket crooner has wowed fans with For Your Pocket remix featuring Davido .
Moreso his excellent verse in DMW’s collaborative single ‘Mind’, Peruzzi is steady building a lasting career and dedicated fan base.
With many singles been recorded including a song with Tuface, the latest addiction to the DMW family is ready to take the music industry by storm.
3. Terri (Starboy Entertainment)
Terri was picked up by Starboy Entertainment after he posted an Instagram video where he covered DJ Jimmy Jatt’s single ft Wizkid titled ‘Oshe’.
His signing is reminiscent of the way Davido picked up and signed Mayorkun to DMW after Mayorkun posted a video on twitter where he covered Davido’s “The Money” featuring Olamide.
With a fire verse on Wizkid’s recently released new single ‘Soco’, we look forward to more fire tracks from Terri in 2018.
4. Idowest (Usual Suspekt/Worldstar)
The street is winning in the Nigerian music industry as of late 2017 to this present moment.
With the Shaku Shaku trend and music offerings from the street oriented artists like Slimcase, Leke Lee, Mr Real, Zlatan Ibile, Flex B, Bravo G and others.
The signing of street act and Omo Shepeteri crooner, Idowest to Dammy krane’s owned Usual DSuspekt Entertainment is sure a move in the right direction for Dammy Krane whose career has been faced with a lot of challenges recently.

Teni who is affiliated to Shizzi magic fingers gained popularity for co-writing Davido’s Single ‘Like Dat ‘and her viral single ‘Fargin’.
She was recently picked up by Dr Dolor Entertainment where she has dropped two singles ‘Pareke’ and ‘Wait’.
Wait is currently enjoying massive airplay and Teni who has been applauded for her unique voice and delivery is set to take her career a step further in 2018.
